Submit papers and posters
The organising committee is welcoming abstract submissions for oral and poster presentations.
The technical program will feature invited presentations by leading experts as well as volunteer oral and poster presentations.
Volunteer submissions are encouraged for the following topic areas:
- Nutritional aspects of phospholipids particularly within the areas of sphingolipids and omega-3 phospholipids in nutrition, but presentations on other phospholipids are also welcome
- Applications of phospholipids in food and pharma with particular focus on physico-chemical functional properties of phospholipids
- Technological aspects with particular focus on processing and modification of phospholipids
Abstract submission process and deadline
Abstracts are submitted online on the form to the right. Please specify session, and prioritize presentation type. The abstract should include:
- Max. 250 word abstract in English (Use Times New Roman, Font 12, no figures or tables to be included)
- Indication of topic area (session)
- Complete title
- Complete names of all authors/presenters
- Company/institutions for each author/presenter
- Complete contact information including e-mail address for the corresponding author
- Preference of an oral or poster presentation
Deadline for submitting the abstract is 1st September 2008.
Evaluation and acceptance
Abstracts will be reviewed by the organising committee, who will make every effort to meet the authors’ preference for presentation type, but may elect to change oral contributions to poster presentations due to a limited time for oral lectures. Each abstract will be evaluated separately using the following criteria:
- Relevance and timeliness to theme
- Creativity and originality of content
- Clarity of abstract
- Presentation is free of commercial bias
Authors will be notified about acceptance and chosen presentation format by 20th September 2008.

Expenses
All volunteer and poster presenters are expected to pay the registration fee to attend the seminar. Each will be responsible for his/her own travel and accommodation expenses.
